Reactions to the Birth

The world has experienced a number of momentous events, the signing of the Magna Carta, the invention of moveable type, the Protestant Reformation, etc., but none more momentous than when the author of life wrote Himself into His own story, and came to tabernacle among us. How an individual reacted to that most momentous news reflected the state of his heart and the predispositions of his mind. This message looks at how the news of Christ's birth was received by Herod, the Wise Men, The scribes, and the shepherds, and it urges the listener to examine his own response to the news. This sermon seemed to be well-received by the flock at Liberty, and we trust it will continue to be used to glorify God.
