James 3 Part 7: The World & Its Wisdom

The Wisdom that is not from above is earthly, sensual, and devilish.
Wherever such wisdom is employed we find confusion and every evil work.

The wisdom of this world often appears as wisdom, but it is contrary to the ways of scripture. This world and its men aim to promote man's position, to satisfy man's desires, to multiply man's choices, to relieve man's constraints, and to liberate man's potential, and to protect man's touchy pride.
The Word of Truth is always the enemy and the fool to the carnal mind.
Scripture exposes the arrogance, confronts the facade, exalts The Only Wise God, and sets His ways and His thoughts far above our ways and far above our thoughts, where reality is checked.
