Christ the Messiah and Rock

97

• Simple obedience: they followed Him.
• The question for each of is whether or not you are willing to trust and follow Jesus.
Ephesians 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
• God does not make you go through life alone. He never has and never will. For instance, the Lord did not tell Noah to GO into the ark but told them to COME in because God was already in there.
Genesis 7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
• There are no guarantees what the future holds for Christians individually, but we do know the future. But we know this: man will not destroy the earth because God will one day burn it up and replace it with a new heaven and a new earth.
• It is important to understand that Christians are not offered or promised the easy life. In fact, we are commended for the sufferings we experience and the faith that we live by.

• Dedicated believers always encourage and provoke others to come to Jesus. They want to tell others the great news that they had learned.
• Christians have a mission and a responsibility, but the dedicated ones also have a heartfelt desire to tell others about Him.
