Why did Matthew mention certain women in the genealogy of Jesus? Jesus came to save sinners. Even the Royal Family of Jesus, all of them were sinners. All of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No one will justify themselves before God the Father. Jesus came to save us from our sin. Because of Jesus, we can know God and be saved.
