God's Love and Hatred

In this sermon we consider the two greatest commandments and why they are the greatest. We consdier what they require and how far short we fall in keeping them. We further consider the distinction between God's love of complacence (delight) and His love of benevolence (goodness in giving) and how this explains many things. For one, it explains why, as believer, we are able (by grace) to benevolently love our sinful neighbors and even enemies, and yet why we take no delight in them. It is because God takes no delight in them either and we cannot out-love God.
