Jesus Heals a Lame Man... On the Sabbath!

Back in Jerusalem, the home of the religiously “pure” Jews, Jesus heals a man of a 38 year paralysis on the Sabbath. The healing was done, not for the purpose of improving the lame man’s life, rather for the purpose of tearing down the false religion of the Jews in Judea. Our righteousness is not found in our religion, it is found in Christ alone. The Gospel is not obey your religious laws to please God. It is not turn to Jesus for a better life now. It is put your full faith and trust in Christ alone, the risen Lord!
