True Worship: Does It Really Matter?

Embed
90

This sermon expounds upon the biblical reality that God is the One who must define worship. It expounds the Regulative Principle which states: 1) True worship is based on God's commands 2) True worship must not break God's negative commands 3) If something is not based on Scripture (either by command, principle, or practice) it is forbidden. Obviously, the last principle is the most often ignored, thus weakening the entire reality of true worship. Leviticus chapter ten helps us to see that God is not favorable to the creative ideas that men seek to offer to God in their worship. We must cry out to God and ask Him to open our eyes to the many areas that we offer ‘strange fire' in our worship.
