A Severe Mercy

God showed to Manasseh a severe mercy, to rescue his life and his soul from sin. How is God currently rescuing you from your sin? Because He is! God is relentless in this work. He never stops rescuing us from our sin until we reach eternity. So how is God rescuing you right now? Is God working in your heart through His Word? If so, learn from Manasseh! When God works in your heart through His Word, He is giving you an opportunity for a gentle, much less painful rescue. Respond to the Word, before He sends His severe mercy to rescue you. Respond to the antibiotics, so that the amputation does not have to take place.
