Many times those that oppose the doctrines of grace try to use 2 Peter 3:9 'The Lord is not slack, concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance' as a proof text that God desires the salvation of every individual.
This verse is then used, by many, as a proof that election is not true.
Pastor Steve explains the verse, in its context, defending the doctrines of grace, and also deals with the truth of the second coming of Christ in the larger context.
