Not the Righteous--Sinners Jesus Came to Save

With Matthew's call to be Jesus' disciple in Matt 9:9-13 we have an example of the call to discipleship seen in Matt 8:18-22--must be willing to forsake all and love Christ most of all. This gives us insight into the nature of conversion and discipleship. And the failure of the Pharisees should be a warning to the Christian.
