The Story of All Stories

"Let me tell you a story…" is effectively how Isaiah introduces the passage before us this week (Isaiah 63:7-65:25). We need a story bigger than the latest newsfeed or social media post.., bigger than our own lives.., to hold us today and to give us hope for tomorrow. Only the story of the steadfast love of the Lord can do that. Isaiah tells us this story, and with him I pray that, in his mercy, the Father might make the story of his steadfast love our story.
