- New birth involves the removal of a heart of stone
A heart of stone is cold, hard, dead, unfeeling, and unresponsive
- New birth involves the giving of a new heart - Ezekiel 36:26
A new heart is one that can feel; this is the regeneration of a sinner
New birth gives to the sinner God's Holy Spirit
