The Rush and Hush Of The Crowd

The Rush and Hush of the Crowd

The Crowd Rushed but Hushed... before the man who was lying crippled at the gate and begging for help when they entered the temple that day.

Now he's walking, leaping, celebrating and praising after being crippled for over forty years.

He's no longer begging and pleading for money, he's blessing and praising God for His mercy.

They are dumbfounded, stunned and silent being overwhelmed with what they now see. Their eyes can't grasp it, their mouths can't explain it, their minds are intensely focused upon him and they are saying nothing... and Peter saw it!

A heart and handful of gleanings from Acts 3.

What then is the urgency of the message? Hearing, heeding and honoring the message and testimony of Jesus.

Moses said it like this: "The Lord your God will raise up FOR YOU a Prophet [speaking of Jesus] like me from your brethren, Him [Jesus] you shall hear in ALL things, WHATEVER He says to you" (Acts 3:22).

What's the cost for a person that does NOT give their FULL attention, affection and adoration to hear, heed and honor the word of Jesus?

"And, it shall be that EVERY soul who will NOT hear Jesus will be utterly destroyed from among the people [that do hear Him]" (Acts 3:23).

There's NO salvation in any other, for there is NO other name under heaven, given among men, by which we MUST be saved. There is ONLY one name given unto men to hear, heed and honor. And if ANYONE is not hearing, living and proclaiming His message... they will perish and be destroyed without Him and His grace. (Acts 4:11-12)

Today may the last day we have the chance to tell them that we and Jesus loves them.
