All the Saints are Fully God's Sons!

It is well known that God does not just save His people from wrath and judgment, but He also adopts us as His own sons. This He accomplishes by the death of His Only Begotten Son the Lord Jesus, our Savior and elder Brother!

But our Father does far more than merely save us and adopt us: He makes us to fit in as His sons, so that we will not be ashamed or alienated or left out or looked down upon when we are all gathered together in Glory with His Son forever.

We have all heard about step-children and even adopted sons who are mistreated or frozen out or treated differently as inferiors from their natural brothers, but praise God, He never does that to His adopted sons!

First, we are made acceptable and to feel accepted and welcome by the fact that the Lord Jesus was made like unto us. He is made like His brethren by the incarnation, whereby His deity is annexed forever and inseparably with our humanity.

Therefore, we are not the only human sons in Glory, but our elder Brother is also fully human like us, so there is no need to feel separated or different or inferior in our humanity.

Moreover, God makes us like Christ! We are conformed to His Image.

No earthly father has the power to make over his adopted son so that he will be like the natural sons, but our God has that power and He uses it to bring us into unity with His "natural" Son, the Lord of Glory.

God announced this as His intention: to conform us unto the image of His Dear Son, so that Jesus might be the firstborn among many brethren. He is made like us, and we are made like Him, so that there is a close kinship and unity with Jesus before God the Father that cannot even be imagined!
