Gretchen's Dilemma: The Standard for Love

Gretchen stopped Tony while he was open-air preaching on Bruin Walk, on the UCLA campus to ask, 'What are you yelling about.' That question led to about a ten minute conversation during which Gretchen was confronted by the reality that her standard for love was both arbitrary and absurd. As Tony began to assert the truth that God is the determiner for the standard of morality and the determiner of what true love is. Faced with her dilemma, Gretchen cut the conversation short. But she willingly received a Bible and a gospel tract before she walked away.
