Adapting to Idolatry and Expecting Comfort?

The culture of Israel in the days of Amos had many striking parallels to our own day. Spirituality was "in". Places of worship were bustling. Judgment was near. Very remarkable intercession was made to delay judgment. And indeed judgment was delayed. We are being wooed by a corrupt culture that is unashamed to profess "spirituality". You may be adapting to this idolatrous culture more than you realize.
