As we invite God to speak to us through His Word, what would be the first truth that should confront us, and that we could respond to about the God of the Book that we are holding and reading from? The first four words of verse one are: “Then the fifth angel”. So this morning the first point we will study from Revelation 9 is the Doctrine of the creation of angels. God uses this first verse to introduce us to these spirit-world creatures, that are unimaginably powerful, called angels in the Bible.
