War in Your Head

A soldier may lose a finger in a war and yet survive. If satan is able to alter a believer's thinking about salvation, he hits where it hurts the Christian the most. That more resembles a soldier losing his head! The key here is not that Paul is telling readers to be saved, he is telling Christians to deliberately think about the greatness of their salvation. This includes identifying and counteracting many lies about salvation.
