“It’s All Yours!” Those Crazy Corinthians! Part 18 (1 Corinthians 3:20-23)
1) Human Messiah figures will always disappoint us. This is because the Body of human knowledge is tainted with sin. King Solomon is a perfect illustration of this. (1 Corinthians 3:20,21; 1 Kings 10:1-13; 11:1-11)
2) All correct Biblical teachings belong to all believers. Apostles, Prophets, and gifted Bible teachers, share a wisdom that does not belong to them. Augustine doesn’t belong to Roman Catholics, Calvin doesn’t belong to the Reformed Church, Luther doesn’t belong to Lutherans, and Spurgeon doesn’t belong to Baptists, we are all Christ’s servants! (1 Corinthians 3:22,23; Galatians 2:1-14)
