Love Loses

What's love got to do with it? Everything! Let us speak the truth in love. As one wise observer said, "truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy." The main evidence of maturity in the Christian life is a growing love for God and for God's people, as well as a love for lost souls. It has been aptly stated that love is the "circulatory system" of the body of Christ. It is love that is the attracting element in a good church. A little boy was asked one day, "Why do you pass so many churches to go to a particular church?" He said, "Because they love a fellow over there." And we would like for people to come to our church and sense that true love, the love of God in Christ poured out into our souls which overflows to others.
