Christ's Christology

In responding to those who thought His healing on the Sabbath was a violation of God's Law, Jesus defends his action. He appeals to the fact that both He and His Father had continually been working (Sabbath or not)... The Jews rightly understand Jesus' words as claiming equality with God and for this reason desire to kill Jesus all the more (now for blasphemy)... Jesus continues by providing us with a clear explanation regarding his relationship to God the Father. Here we receive Christ's teaching on His unique position as the Son of God and Son of Man.
