The Sanctity of Human Life

In this baptismal sermon, Pastor Agnew uses a statement of Jesus on the cross and applies it to abortion. 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.' No one can forgive an innocent person--forgiveness is for the guilty. Those who mocked Jesus thought that they were innocent but they were guilty. Pastor Agnew gives four reasons that they should have known that Jesus was the Messiah. Beginning with the testimony of Scripture, Pastor Agnew gives five reasons why abortion is wrong. He concludes that Jesus Christ is the giver of both physical life and spiritual life. Forgiveness can be found only in Him.
