The Church at Smyrna

The church at Smyrna was a poor church but rich spiritually and does not receive the rebuke that Ephesus did. God encouraged this church for it was a church frevent in love for the Lord and suffering the persecutions for the faith of Christ. The Lord called upon the church to fear not, but remain steadfast and continue as overcommers for Christ, for they would receive the crown of life, and that they would not suffer the eternal judgment of the second death.
