Main idea: The Church family is to act with discernment and compassion to care for those within the church who are in real need.

1. The church is your Christian family v1-2
2. You should primarily be looking after your own family v4, 7-8
3. In your care, you should not be supporting false teaching or immorality v5-6, 9-15
