In this chapter, we witness the fall of a king. The king hosts a feast full of wine, women and blasphemy. God acts immediately and writes words on the wall that cannot be interpreted. The king is visibly shaken and no one in his court can tell him the meaning of the words except Daniel. For this king there is no time of grace and mercy by God and the king is dead in less than 24 hours and his kingdom is taken by another.
