What does Total Depravity Mean?

This is Part 4 in a series of lessons on Chapter 20 of the 1689 LBCF (The Gospel and Its Gracious Extent). In these first four to five lessons, the canvas is being prepared for the gospel. In other words, 'What occasioned the gospel in the first place' (other than God's own sovereign good pleasure?). Answer: The Fall. In this lesson, the doctrine of total depravity is explained and also clarified because of certain misunderstandings that some have.
