042 If God is For Us

I remind you that God was not obligated to save us from the outpouring of His wrath, but He chose to do so anyway. He chose to make our salvation an integral part of His plan to bring Glory to Himself. He calls the elect to Himself and with that comes a resurrection from spiritual death to life through faith in Jesus. In that moment the saved sinner is sealed by God the Holy Spirit. He is God’s pledge and promise that we will be taken to heaven without fail. We will receive our promised inheritance, and God will put us on display to the praise of His glorious grace!
