Remain In The Condition In Which You Were Called

REMAIN IN THE CONDITION IN WHICH YOU WERE CALLED
1 Corinthians 7:17-24

Because our sovereign God has called us in a specific life situation, we must live as He has called us in that situation.

We must recognize that our ethnicity is irrelevant (17-20)
We must recognize that our social status is irrelevant (21)
We must recognize our freedom in and slavery to Christ (22-24)

Applications

Contentedness: We need to be content with where we are in life.
Self-understanding: We should stop trying to be someone we are not….
Gifts: We must use the gifts and abilities He has given us.
Slaves of Christ: We should always envision ourselves as slaves of Christ
Price of our redemption: Remembering the price Jesus paid!
