--President Joe Biden issued a proclamation today praising the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and declared this Sunday, January 22nd, as a day to honor the 50th anniversary of that decision.

--New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that a city-run clinic in the Bronx will begin to offer free abortion pills to women, with plans to expand the program to 3 more clinics by the end of the year.

--New data released by the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics shows more deaths than births in 2022.

--A top leader of the U.N. has urged politicians to make unpopular decisions that may benefit their people in the long run after making a special address at the World Economic Forum in Davo, Switzerland on Wednesday.
