Judgement and Sanctification

God's promises for a temple and a city for Jerusalem are met with a promise to judge sin and to cleanse His people, removing their sin far from them one way or the other. We each have a choice: judgement or sanctification. Historically, God did a mighty work for Israel, sanctifying her from idolatry at this point in history in a manner that had seemingly permanent effects.
