Daniel and his three friends found themselves in Babylon with luxuries and temptations at each hand luring them to turn their backs on God. One word sums up their mindset, "resolve." They had resolved, purposed (1:8), not to defile themselves. They drew a line in the sand and chose to stand true to God. Have you made the commitment to God to stand strong in the face of temptation?
