The Existence of Angelic Beings

Do you believe in an unseen realm? What is the basis for your answer? There are many people in this modern world who are materialists. They deny the existence of an unseen realm and sincerely believe that every question can be answered from within the material world itself. And they are depending upon science to ultimately “prove” they are right. I am quite positive that you have never seen an angelic being. So how do you know that they even exist? What authoritative source do you turn to in order to support your belief? Most of the religions of the world have some doctrinal understanding of the existence of angels. As we begin this study, let me say right at the outset that the only authoritative source that we will turn to is the written revelation of God in the Holy Scriptures. In this first session, in order to introduce you to the subject, I want to simply explore several preliminary matters on the existence and history of angels.
