064 A Tale of Hope 1

With blood beginning to coagulate on the ground, the beast heaves for every breath. The poison on the arrows buried deep into its flesh is claiming its victim. The situation appears irreversible and grim. This is how Job felt under the terrors of God (Job 6:4). This is how God hunted Hopeful down.
Actually, Hopeful was one of the reveling crowd in Vanity Fair, who was surprisingly pierced by Christian and Faithful's lives and message. At first, he came to know about his condition, but it was only a thing of the mind. With time however, God brought him down like a hunter brings down his victim. Yet this is a tale of hope, not a tale of disaster. It was through this crisis of unbearable conviction of sin that this man began to be known as Hopeful.
