Frustration

Frustration! How many of the plans we may make come to nothing? We may plan according to our expected riches and wealth, but these things, like other things in life can disappear. If these are all we build our life upon then the great hopes we have could disappear with them.

Nothing changes – we may look for honour, we may dream great dreams; aspire to bigger things, but if we leave God out of our life, then all is futile and vain.

Make God your riches, make Him your refuge from life's storms. All that we hold onto can be gone in a moment, whether it be our riches, wisdom, might, or social position. All these things can be removed from us in an instant, even life itself.

Therefore, consider Jesus Christ. Seek to understand Him and to know Him, the only one who can be the sum of all your desired happiness. Serve Him; He is exactly what your soul needs. He sees your condition, and stands ready to help. Humble yourself, surrender to Him, and know that Jesus Christ died for you, for your sins, if you would repent and turn to Him!

Yes friend, frustration is endemic in this world, but Christ is with His people. He will carry them through, He will be their hope, their joy and their refuge.
