SUBJECT STUDY: GIFTS
The list that we're going through regarding spiritual gifts is not exhaustive. As we go through these scriptures and read about them, think about how they apply to your own life. A gift is something that you do that you care about that makes you happy and that glorifies God. You can have multiple gifts

1 Cor 12:1: The word “gifts” is in italics, so it wasn't in the original scripture. It should say “now concerning spiritualities”. Forget the word “gifts”.
Vs2: Paul says that now you have become a Christian, you are no longer a Gentile.
Vs3: You have to learn from this point on what is true. God expects you to learn the truth, and He accepts no excuses. Now that you are a Christian, you must mature spiritually by studying the bible and applying its principles to your daily life.
Vs4: here begins the many gifts, but the same Spirit.
Vs5: there are different individualities that God has given to men to serve the church.
Vs6: there are differences in administrations of work, but all given by the same God.
Vs7: The profits of these workings, talents, efforts, are to benefit the church, not the individual.
Vs8: Paul continues to emphasize that all of these gifts come from the same Spirit, and that the talents are different: wisdom, knowledge, and other talents all come from the same Spirit and are all used to benefit the church.
Vs9: Paul emphasizes again that it's from the same Spirit
Vs10: more gifts mentioned: miracle workers, prophets, a spirit discerner or psychic, one who speaks many known spoken languages, another who interprets many known languages, not unknown languages like so-called “speaking in tongues”....
