Introduction to Hermeneutics

Hermeneutics is the art and science of Biblical interpretation. In this introduction to a monthly course on hermeneutics, we will learn about the importance of proper interpretation, the foundation of proper hermeneutics (the grammatical-historical method of interpretation), the pitfalls of an erroneous hermeneutical foundation (such as allegorical interpretation), and the first of the tools in our hermeneutical toolbox: the interpretation of words.
