Leading media sources and scientists are talking about the ultimate breakthrough in science — to happen around AD 2045. They are talking about the moment of singularity, when machine goes beyond man in its intelligence. This is supposed to offer indefinite life extensions, and other exciting new developments that will one up whatever God told Adam in the garden. Will the singularity mean the death of religion? Will the ontological argument fail when an intelligence refuses to allow for the possibility of God? We mock at these futile plans of mortal men, and call the world to repentance before it’s too late.
