1. Seven ways that death disrupts the pursuit of the perfect life
   a) Close family and friends get sick and die
   b) Fear of death overshadows our joy
   c) Sense of futility and meaninglessness
   d) Even the very best life ends
   e) All our wealth goes to others
   f) We are ultimately forgotten
   g) Victim of something unnatural

2. Seven things that we try to stop death from ruining the perfect life
   a) Get super fit and/or surround yourself with possessions
   b) Ignore death and refuse to think about it
   c) Imagine that death is like extinction
   d) Imagine that death is like a beautiful sleep
   e) Believe that death is part of a natural cycle or even reincarnation
   f) Imagine a long tunnel with a white light at the end
   g) Believe that everyone who does will go to heaven to be with God

3. Reality check - thinking straight about death
   a) Sickness and death are totally unnatural
   b) Death destroys relationships
   c) Death is followed by God's judgement
   d) God's judgement is according to His strict law and against our sin
   e) Death is so bad because it not only destroys relationships, it is the result of a broken relationship

4. How do I deal with the painful reality of death?
   a) Nothing less than supernatural resurrection is needed
   b) The source of resurrection and life is a Person
   c) That person, Jesus Christ, is alive from the dead today having suffered God's judgement in full
   d) Jesus alone has the power to restore the broken relationship between you and God
