Though He Slay Me, I Will Hope in Him

In today’s text, Job replies to his friends as they debate his suffering. Job acknowledges that God has done this. Still, Job says that he will continue to hope in the Lord.

In today’s message, Don examines Job’s reply to his friends and looks at the hope we can have in the sovereignty of God.

What if we are to experience suffering?

The answer is to change the question from “what if” to “even if”.

Even if suffering comes, God is there.

Even if life becomes hard, God is good.

Even if He slay me, I will hope in Him.
