Will a man rob God?

This is a curious question no doubt that we find here…Will a man rob God? Israel did. They had stopped giving to the work of God. A long spiritual drought had come upon the nation and despite small revivals here and there, the work of God had nearly halted as the people had stopped supporting His Work.
God is not injured when His children do not tithe. It does not stop Him from being God.
But it does hinder His work, and give occasion to the enemies of God to blaspheme.
One might suppose, and would be right, that this is one subject we as preachers/pastors are hesitant to deal with…not because it isn't in the Bible, but because of how people react when preachers start dealing with money.
Many people accuse preachers of only being after money.
When a preacher begins to deal with this subject, they point the finger at him and say “here we go again…Just another preacher who wants our money.” And because there are many charlatans out in the world, it has given people a reason to wonder.
