The Glory of Sovereign Love

If there are two things which are so often misunderstood in the Church today it is, what seems to some, the conflicting message of the Bible that God is both a God of wrath and a God of love.

In these two helpful messages Phil Johnson shows that there is no contradiction at all. Indeed it is only when we fully appreciate the wrath of God that we can understand the enormity and wonder of His love - a love which is not a sentimental love, as is so often portrayed today, but a sovereign love, freely and graciously given to all who call upon His name.
