For the record

In the book of Esther we have had 4 major characters and this is their status as of chapter 10:
Haman is in his coffin, Esther is no longer considered (as that the book at bares her name doesn't mention her in this final chapter, Ahasuerus is found in his counting house, and Mordecai is now chronicled. Here in this final part of the book we see clearly the part that Ahasuerus played in this drama as he represents the law. For it is the law that legislated the tax that all citizens of the empire had to pay and on the spiritual level it is the law that mandates the tax of death upon all who walk this Earth. The good news is that Mordecai represents Jesus and His position is superior to all and who ever accepts Him will find His peace.
