Have rod, will travel

The word “rod” here means a branch; but also figuratively it means tribe, ruling, rod for chastening, throwing, or walking.
In Moses' case he was commanded by God to take that rod everywhere he went. With that rod he was gonna do great things. I believe we will see that if we will carry our rod with us where ever we may go for God we will see it come into play in these same areas of our lives as well.
