Genesis 1:2-25

Lucifer ruled the earth in verse 1. Then he was cast out and now he is raging against mankind.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Lucifer ruled the wonderful beautiful earth from day one for how long, we don't know. Even scientists don't know how old the earth is. God destroyed the original form of the earth with some catastrophic event. He destroyed it and earth became a big mess. Even scientists can prove that. God's face brooded upon the waters. He looked over it for a time, how long we don't know.
3¶ And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. The sun was already created in the first creation. Bible scholars call this the re-creation. God allowed the sunlight to reach earth again at this point.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. This is the recreation. He lets light start shining through this void after He cast Satan and Satan's angels out. Day and night we think it means a 24-hour day, the earth's daily rotation is set up now.
6 ¶ And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. This is where God takes the water that was around the earth at that....
