The Church's Supplications For Human Government

There is one duty that we as Christians have in relation to our civil authorities, the discharge of which is not required of us by those authorities: the duty to pray for them. Paul identifies for whom we are to pray, how we are to pray, & the purposes for which we are to pray. May the Lord hear & answer our prayers for social peace & stability so that the church might serve Christ Jesus faithfully & advance His Kingdom among men.
