Unto Perfection

Growth in Christ is NOT optional for the Christian. We are created, called and saved to be conformed to the likeness of Christ, so that we might display the manifold wisdom of God in Christ. But we have fallen victim to a mindset which relegates all spiritual knowledge to the accidental or circumstantial variety, since many believe that truth is a relative thing. However, God has delivered to us, His Word which is the objective, propositional truth. His Word not only contains truth, it IS truth. And as such we are called to grow in that truth with the grace that God provides. It is not normal, nor is it acceptable for Christians to fail to grow up in grace. God commands growth!!
