Spiritual Intelligence

When we first heard of COVID-19, we knew little about this 'novel' coronavirus. But over the course of 10 months, we have learned quite a bit about the virus, how it is transmitted, and how to treat it. The increased medical knowledge gives us the mental, medical edge in fighting COVID. Just as in the physical realm, accurate military intelligence gives us the advantage when engaging in conflict with a physical enemy, so accurate spiritual intelligence gives us an advantage in the spiritual conflicts we face. God has revealed to us first of all the nature of the conflict. That it is not something to take lightly but that our enemy is out to destroy us. Secondly, we have accurate information regarding the identity of our foe. We do not wrestle again flesh and blood, but rather against a host of demons with Satan being their leader. But most importantly, we know the outcome of this spiritual conflict for in the end, Jesus Christ wins! For that which Satan thought was his greatest triumph--the death of Jesus Christ--turned out to be his greatest defeat. For Jesus publicly triumphed over the demonic realm, sealing their fate. Now, while Satan and his demonic forces are formidable foes, we do not need to fear them. But we do need to respect them, be on our guard for they are out to destroy us. However we know the outcome and that is, JESUS CHRIST WINS!
