Witnesses

As Jesus makes his formal defense before the Jewish religious leaders, He is aware that such a defense requires corroboration; someone other than Himself will need to provide testimony. So He calls on His Father who, following the judicial pattern set forth in the Law, offers three testimonies that affirm Jesus is who He says He is. He is the Son of God.
