Three Faces Of Evil

1-Ziba was guilty of deceptive evil that hypocritically says whatever will advance it own cause.
2-Shimei was guilty of refusing to believe the evidence in order to believe what he wanted to believe. He coupled willful ignorance with deep malice and hostility.
3-Ahithophel was guilty of destructive evil that seems invincible.
How are Christians to stand against evil and hostility?
--Be watchful and discerning so that we are not deceived.
--Do not retaliate against those who hate us.
--Rest in the confidence that evil is under God's sovereign control, that it cannot go beyond the bounds He allows for it, and that it will finally be destroyed.
