Ear Trouble or Heart Trouble?

To have 'an ear to hear' is a figurative way of saying that a person has a capacity to receive, believe, understand, obey, and recognize Christ's Word. Before we can have the ears of faith, we must have a new heart. Christ must touch our eyes and our ears to make the deaf hear and the blind see.
